Oscar Diggs, Finley, and China Girl come to a cemetery at the edge of the Dark Forest and see a dark, hooded figure. It was her who fell in love with the affections of the Scarecrow (portrayed by Kermit the Frog).

She has a protective, maternal streak shown with her love and care of her people and China Girl. Even after the death of her father, Glinda never once wishes for war, violence, or revenge, but will fight for justice and peace within Oz. However, her manipulative nature had the potential to shatter Sam and Nick's fragile relationship.Glinda aspires to see the good in all others, even when they themselves cannot see it themselves. After returning to the states, she decided she wanted to rekindle their relationship and headed to Middleton to do just that. Because of this, Linda and Nick drifted apart which disappointed her. She kept in touch with Nick as often as she could, but her strenuous job demanded much, if not all, of her time. Linda, however, wasn't given any parental rights due to her choice to leave her son and ex-husband.

Linda ultimately decided to give up, which allowed Sam to have full custody and raise Nick on his own without any intervention from her. Although, Sam states that Linda did not fight him for Nick, opting instead to pursue a career in London. When Nick was still an infant, it became apparent that their relationship wasn't meant to be after Sam discovered Linda cheated on him with her gym instructor.ĭuring their divorce, the pair had a custody battle because Linda wanted to take Nick overseas with her while she traveled for business.
Neither parent was willing to give up their career, so they hired a nanny to take care of Nick while they were at work. The birth of their son, Nick, was unexpected and caused tension between the two. The pair were in a whirlwind relationship and were soon married. Linda met prospective doctor Sam Radford shortly after her college graduation.
